What a day. Your nerves were completely shot. You boss was a bastard as always, you didn't get the promotion you worked so hard trying to get, your car wouldn't start this morning, and the list could go on and on. Thank God it was just about over. You pulled your (color/make of vehicle) into the parking lot. Opening the car's door, you started to get out when you noticed your front door was slightly ajar.

You were a cautious person, and always locked your door. Reaching in the back of the vehicle, under the seat, you kept a tire iron. Gripping the metal, you advanced towards the door, expecting the worse. Slowly, you crept inside. The lights were off, except for the kitchen. Pausing for a moment, you noticed the smell of (favorite flavor) cookies.

Walking around the corner, you could see the shadow of the intruder, you raised the iron up above your head. Getting ready to swing, you jumped around the corner to see Tino Väinämöinen, your long time best guy friend.

"Oh! Hello, (Name)!" He smiled turning to see you standing there. "I baked you some (favorite cookies)"

"What the hell, Tino!" You shouted dropping the iron and breathing deeply, trying to calm down. "You just brake into people's houses to make cookies?"

"Well, no." he replied frowning.

"Then why are you here!" You yelled.

"Well," He started looking at the ground. "I know you have been really tense lately..."

You glared at the Finnish man as he explained himself.

"So I figured I'd try and make you happy," He looked back up at you. "I didn't mean to make you angry, (Name). I brought over (favorite movie), some popcorn, and I also brought you these." He walked over to the table and held up a bouquet of flowers.

You could feel your whole body soften as he presented the flowers to you. No one has ever tried being that nice to you before. You gave him a hug.

"Thank you, Tino," You said. All your feelings were building up and you could feel tears fall down face.

"Do you not like them?" He asked wiping the tears away.

"No, no I love them, they're beautiful, it's just no one ever did anything this sweet before," You almost laughed at how cheesy that last part came out.

He just smiled and held your hand in his.

"Lets go watch (movie), okay!" He was still grinning.  "Besides the cookies are done, and I'll make some popcorn to go with it!"

You weren't sure if cookies and popcorn went together, but you went to the couch, and in a few minutes he met you there with the snacks. The movie was half way over, when you leaned over and pecked Tino on the cheek.

"Next time just call first," You whispered in his ear.

A red blush brushed over his cheeks. He pecked you on the lips.

"Okay," He smiled that wonderful smile of his once more. "Just call me when you have another bad day, and I'll be here for you."

You leaned against him as you two continued watching the movie.
